Tis the season,Not only cat cave promotion,but also as you shop for those kids, grandkids, and nieces and nephews, you could probably use some good ideas for gifts. You may or may not have a wish list. But, if you’re buying toys for charity, you don’t even have a list. What will make those kids the happiest? What will bring the sparkle to their eyes on Christmas morning? Here are the top selling toys for Christmas.

Known as Teksta, the Robotic Puppy in the UK, Tekno is perhaps the fastest selling toy. Stores are having a hard time keeping it on the shelves, so if you see one, snatch it up. Someone in your family, or some child receiving charity, will be delighted to get this robotic toy. It can do backflips, bark, play ball, and retrieve. It also communicates using its eyes. Furthermore, it can be controlled remotely through an iOS or an app for an android. They are available in pink and blue, presumably for gender-specific gift giving.

This is the new iteration of the toy. It was first introduced in 1999 as an affordable option to the more expensive Sony Aibo. This model is cuter, with more of an anime styling for its eyes and other features. It even obeys hand gestures, and its personality will change depending on where you pet it. It will dance to music, and has a sensor that keeps it from running into walls and such. They will even talk to each other.

The InnoTab 3S by V-Tech is another great choice for the budding IT in your home. This is a 3rd generation item, and has a five inch touchscreen. This kiddie iPad has a camera that will take pictures from the front or the back. The InnoTab comes with some apps to get the kid started on an e-book and a game, and the KidConnect app is part of the package. With 4GB of memory, you can download movies, TV shows, or more e-Books, and you can even expand the memory.

Another of the robotic toys available today is the Robo Fish. This is a water activated toy with a small bowl that serves as a fish bowl. The colorful fish don’t do anything if they are just on the shelf, but once you put them in water, they start swimming just like real fish. They bob around, and will even swim up to the surface as if they are eating.

The Nerf Elite Rapidstrike CS-18 is the light-weight Nerf gun of the 2013 season. The clip holds 18 foam darts, and is see-through so you aren’t as likely to run out of ammo. The Nerf guns are still immensely popular, as paint-ball guns are more messy and tend to bruise. But, this is no softie in the shooting contest. It will fire all 18 darts in under 6 seconds. That is at a range of 20 meters. Just don’t take it to a U.S. school for show and tell. You’ll end up expelled.
